If my name was Waldo I would hide a lot more often

Dont you hate it when your so bored you wanna just drill something into your foot or something. Yeah thats how im feeling now.

So me Lance and Reagan went to the stereotrap concert at Nutella college park this afternoon. And let me say. By the time we got there ( which took an hour or so ) It was a bunch of fun.

It was the first time I saw Mike play with them when i actually knew he was a part of stereotrap. I seen him play once before at some church where we couldnt stand up but didnt pay much attention to him because i just thought he was playing with them cause jody couldnt make it. He can play though. I quite enjoy him

There was only like...30 people there and a bunch werent even watching. Well maybe 20-30 watching and 15 hanging around at the blow up...things and food places. Overall it was pretty small but at least the day turned out to be beautiful.

There was a clown there and she walked over to us. Regan proclaimed that I needed a hug so I jumped out of my seat. ran a bit away and started covering my mouth and crying. She pretended to be scared of me. Then realized i was crying and actually scared of her. so she left.

Stupid clowns

I guess it was a pretty funny prank. I like the ones that don't involve things catching on fire.
Yeah nothing is hurt except feelings...

Life is like a circus: it contains midgets and monkeys. If you remember one thing in life you will be ok. I am not telling you what it is though.

So its the weekend. eh? and its summer! since like... 2 or 3 days ago. hoorah
I love the beach. its close to water which is fantoobulus. More people should be allowed to live in the ocean
1 week left until camp.

Im really bored right now. I just went into the city to go shopping with carrie and now im just sitting here.
being bored is the worst feeling ever I just wanna run around and scream but I know it wont help. That and my familys home.

Iv givin up trying to hide my license date so here it is....the day I will go for my license

july 11th

BAH! im so nervous. I haveta go with this...guy who takes me out an hour before i go and takes me through it and I heard hes really mean. and I hate mean people. Id rather do it on my own with no help then do it with someone whos mean. But my parents wont let me.
Im actually fairly confident that I might get it. Contrary to popular belifs I am a good driver. I swear. but im not going to get my hopes up.
Since most of you are at camp when I go. youll know if i got it if I come up to visit when the stereotrap concert is.

Sorry my posts have been really random and stupid lately.. im just bored

There is nothing so shocking as discovering you are an elephant with extra legs.

As I was walking through a life one morning, the sun was out, the air was warm, but Oh, I was cold
Ted Leo & The Pharmacists - Me and Mia

2 down 2 to go.

I PASSED BIO! hooray for credits!
and hooray for Comm. Easy easy shmeasy exam.
Boo for Law tomorow. He said it is going to take 3 hours..I didnt think id dread anything more than i dreaded Bio...but im dreading law.

Anyways. I might have told you about an allergic reaction I had to a temporary tattoo? Well if not. I had a big square of hives. It was pretty cool. ANYWAYS. Its back! I scratched it the other day and BAM! There it is again! what the heck is wrong with me! . Whenever I itch it, it hurts

8 days left until camp!

My cousins are coming to live with me this summer. Forsure for July but maybe august and maybe for a bit of school. They hadta be out of there house on july 1st and they stilldont have anywhere to live and its my job to find something for them to do all summer. hooray.....or not.
I love my cousins * its only the two youngest ones. 10 and 12* but i feel bad that they haveta go thorugh this and not know anyone here while im gone.

but anyways. my wrist is falling asleep

And when the day is through,Nothin' to do, sit around groovin' with you
Stevie Wonder - Love havin' you around

One exam down. 3 to go.

Bio was SO hard. It started off with 75 multiple choice. matching and like 7 digrams, super hard fill in the blanks/charts. It ended with an extremly hard essay on angiosporophyte reproduction. Like come on! I think I passed but i didnt do good per say.

Comm tomorow and law on friday and finally art. then in done grade 11.

MAN was the storm last night ever COOL! I was home alone though. The lightning was absolutly nuts and went until 3:30 I didnt get much sleep but it was worth it.
I got the coolest picture of a bolt but I cant downoad hello so I cant show you. sorry

But off to study for law. cause the other two exams are going to be a joke.

On another note. I CANT BELIVE Josh Palmer didnt make it into the top 10 tonight on Canadian Idol. I was so ticked.
Canadian Idols become a big mainstream joke. Seriosly. People only vote for people just cause they can sing. Reality check, Josh can sing AND he has something unique to offer. His stage presence was amazing and he was doing something diffrent.
The people who got through were cookie cutter contestants. they can sing and its nothing new and scary. People knew the songs they sang therfore its safe so have them on the show.

And your probably wondering why im making such a big deal about this. Its more of a rant to society than that Josh didnt get through. People basicaly look for 1. hot/cute 2. belting it out/glory notes 3. hype 4. choosing a well known song and hardly varying from the original.
we dont need another 19 year old blonde star...we really dont.

Ah well hes a hopeful for the wildcard pick

An ending fitting for the start, you twist and tore our love apart
The libertines- Cant stand me now

I changed my template again..the other one was too busy and confusing

I think my brain is going to implode

Bio AKA: The exam straight from hell. Is a lost cause. Iv studied for like 9 hours for it and I STILL dont remember anything

But today was my last bio class of the year and MAN did it ever go by slow I really think that was the slowest class in the history of the world. It feels like it should be tomorow

Anyways. im craving music. I havent listend to it all day..gah...and its only second class and i have poopin law next. Ugh.

Im so excited for summer though. 11 days until staff training! woo! and im going for my license..soon. but im not saying when. Iv only told...three people. so dont even think of it. ha

But i think im done being random and...stuff...so im just gonna do something else..

Indie
A gloriously vague term for Independant Music.
Basically unsigned or more obscure bands

This is the new kind of music I have been listening to. And just recently iv been hearing some stereotypes that come with it.
apparantly this music is accociated with the scene which is a bunch of people who think they are cooler than one another.
Apparantly everyone who listens to indie music thinks that othermusic and everyone who listens to anything else sucks. and they are so much better because they know of bands no one else has head of.
I would tell you about my favorite band, whose music I love, but you've never heard of it and thus you are not worth the telling.

Why does every thing have stereotypes? seriosly whats wrong with society.
I listen to "Indie" because I like the music. It doesnt mean i think im better than you because you dont listen to it
Im afriad this is becoming the new "fad". Why do I always have to get into things right when its labelled a fad and automatically im a poser for liking it.
I like it because I like it. Not because everyone else does.

Seriosly. Posers are my biggest pet peeve. So why would i want to become one.

I should just stop listening to it until this whole thing blows over.

just gimme indie rock

Fashionably Uninvited

Yes this is still stephs blog. I changed it around and im still not sure if i like it. I might change it to another one i found cause this one is kinda cluttered.
ANYWHO
i had a heck of a time intalling the comments so you better comment lots now haha

And as you can see. i added a crappy comic of the day at the top right. so click on the top button of the two
We're ordinary people we can't help but to change
The Shins- Pressed in a book

Man so many people have changed over this last year. People who were once nice are now total jerks, People who were once jerks are really nice.

Next year is going to be so weird... think about this. After exams im techically in grade 12. I graduate next school year. thats so sad.
I dont wanna leave my comfy fairytale town and venture into the real world. im too scared. But i know im going to have to leave eventually. leave the highschool life. I just seem too young to be graduating. Weird.

on a totaly unrelated topic. I hate boys and the feelings we have for them. Why cant things work out the way i want them to without all these problems and setbacks and..everything. Boys are of a confusing species.

whatever enough complaining. Hooray for only 2 days of school left.exams until monday, grad then off to camp! I can hardly wait.

I also finally booked my drivers... but im not saying when. all im saying is its in july. im so nervous.

If music be the food of love, play on

Jess's blog inspired me to write a little somethin somethin about music.

There are several things I love about music and im going to talk about them here

First of all. Theres always a band or a song for a specific emotion. If your sad, you can pick out your favorite sad song. It could go the other way too. If your sad you can pick out your favorite cheer up song.
Music can change your emotion. It can make us jump from a state of happiness to one of deep sadness and solitude, all in less than five minutes.

Music is a way of bringing back memories. For me a specific band or song can bring back such vivid memories. even if someone says a peice of a lyric it can bring me back to a certain time like it was just yesterday. Certain songs remind me of special moments or people in my life. And it brings joy. I love memories of people that I miss. If im missing someone I can just pop in a cd that reminds me of that person.
Music is great that way. I think all of us have songs we love for the connection it gives us to another person, whether they are people we love, family or friends. I've had songs in my relationships that have summed up my feelings and passion. Now they're songs I hate, for that very reason.

Music is the only form of communication that bypasses the mind and goes straight to the heart. Music has such impact on people. It can move crowds and speak to the heart, it can bring people together.
The beat can pound and you can feel it right in your gut like your sticking your finger in a outlet, a power surge just flows through you. It's awesome

Music provides a beat just to dance and go nuts. enough said.

Theres just so much diversity i dont think anyone can not like music. Theres something out there for everyone.

Each song is like a time capsule of associations. What kills me is when it's a new song you've never heard before, and you feel it at this very moment capturing the essence of it all and crystallizing it in your memory. It's a very powerful thing we you KNOW it's happening right in front of your eyes - to know that years from now, you will always remember this moment if for no other reason than this song

The intensity, it's too much to convert in to words. Some things are bigger than language.

Ok im starting to sound too smart. im leaving it at that

Feel the music

What Kind of Shoe Are You?(new and updated results!!)

Dalmeny days was so much fun. I hung out with carrie most of friday outside. then we went to bingo then the fireworks...they werent that good but we made noises for each of them. mymom heard them and she was like " I knew it was you...your voice...carries"
Me allyce carrie braden and lance were making roll crucken or whatever however you spell it that night too until like 2 oclock then me and allyce stayed the night and went to bed at 4 because we watched moulan rouge.
Then up we were for the pancake breakfast and then dun dun dun dun.... the parage. Wow that was so much fun. Ryan decorated his car in crumpled brown paper bags and put speakers on top of his car and pumping the tunes. we were all dressed as giant brownbags and people rode longboards. we were also holding banners and stuff. we got best in show. thats right. your jealous

then off to watch some crappy baseball and sit in the sun more. hooray.

after that was a delicious BBQ thanks to Jon or as most people know him craiga's burgers...wow they were good. but then after that we had a surpise birthday for kerri sperling it was good because we said it was for allyce. but then carrie took her to martensville to get stuff for "allyces" party. then she hadta go back to her house to " get lawn chairs" and we surpised her good.

And that was by far my most eventful day because today i just sat at home doing laundry and filling water pics. and i asked my mom if i could call someone to come over while im waiting but she said no. youll get distracted
1. how can you get distracted from something when your not even doing anything

2. isnt it sad when your mom thinks you can distracted from nothing

Im scared. this is the first time iv ever burnt my arms.. i think im going to implode.

sorry about the below post. my link made the writing all messed. and i typed it out TWICE and im NOT typing it out again haha. if you really wanna see it try to copy and paste it into a word document

It should be a good day tomorow, unless i fall into a pit of spikes

Today was alright. First spare then the physed class went golfing so all i did was sit in the library and color bio. then it was double art then i totaly bombed a bio exam

After school I went to the new Long and McQuaid. I got two words for you, WOW. Wait. I guess that's one word. Well its freaking huge. I walked in and almost fell over. Guitars stretching as far as the eye can see... Well, not quite. But it's pretty huge.

Me and Jess after I got back looked like summer eskimos walking down by the old railroad tracks. we had our hoods pulled over our heads and i had my strings tied tight. Never have I seen so many bugs swarming over my head at one time. I think I am a walking mosquito bite right now.
I would try to talk to Jess but as soon as i opened my mouth my sentances would consist of me spitting the bugs out of my mouth. That wasn't too much fun. Well the walk was. not the bugs.
And our monument we made last year got kicked over...yeah, Dont ask.

So. Dalmeny days is this weekend. Woo another excuse for retarded teenagers to get drunk. Im excited for the fireworks ( which seem to get crappier every year but hey )
and being in the parade. Im gonna be a giant brown bag for ryans milk and honey longboard "float" then a BBQ after.
I think theres bingo or something during the weekend. who knows but know this. Bingo owns you. Theres nothing better than bingo on a friday.. or saturday night in Dalmeny...nothing i tells yah.

Static prevails

Its felt like this weekend has totaly passed me by and I could have done something more useful of my time. not saying that my weekend wasnt fun..just not fufilled to its potential.

Seriosly. i slept in AGAIN this morning. honestly. whats wrong with me? Braden and brennan were pounding on my door and i didnt hear them. Where did my internal alarm clock go? i remember the days i would wake up 2 minutes before my alarm everyday. now i wake up 20 minutes after it goes.

--------------------------------------------
You'll sit alone forever
If you wait for the right time
What are you hoping for?
I'm here I'm now I'm ready
Holding on tight
Dont give away the end
The one thing that stays mine

I love those lyrics. Jimmy eat world is so good.

sorry that was my bit of randomness for the day.
----------------------------------------------------------------
On another note. theres only a few days left until summer. a few more weeks until im free of that prison for a couple months only to come back for one final year. then im done. finally done.

I can hardly wait. seriosly. im so excited for my plans for after school. So excited to get away and start a life in the real world instead of this fake highschool life im living now.

Im also really excited for this summer. I can feel great things are going to happen and i cant wait to be a part of it. YAY!

Well that was the most fluctuating in moods post iv ever had. Enjoy

Sharp disaster in a fresh new coma, Was it worth it when it was over?
dashboard confessional - am i missing

before i say anything. everyone download hold me closer tiny dancer by stillwater... haha so good. i love that movie

Dreams are weird. seriosly.
I had a dream last night that i was in a part of DisneyWorld that didn't even exist, and the only way to get in was flying in.

but weirdly carrie was flying a blanket with us in it. the weird thing it wasnt like flat or anything. it sunk down as if the corners were tied up
She kept taking these sharp turns upwards and downwards and i wouldnt be holding on so i would almost fall out everytime and i got really mad at her.

Now that you all know how screwed up I am. i think il stop with that

I used to like the rain alot. i dont anymore. i dont know why. the only way i like it is if it comes with thunder or lightning. getting wet is a gross feeling. If it was pouring i wouldnt care. but my glasses get all speckaly and stuff. and its just so cold outside it feels like a wet winter. Saskatchewan has possibly the worst weather on the face of this planet

speaking of speckaly glasses. im not getting contacts till september *grrr* im angry. i haveta wait till my next eye appoinment. oh well. nothing i can do about it now

My final remark: everyone go out and buy golden oreos. SO GOOD!

dont get mad if im laughing, blame the caffiene
hot hot heat- middle of nowhere

I almost burnt my house down today doing something as innocent as cooking chicken. so heres the story

i put on some chicken in a frying pan.
* sidenote. higher than its supposed to be at*
( 4 peices= too much )
and i go get my hawk nelson cd from my room. i put it in and i get really distracted... but i wasnt dancing around and singing cause my parents WERE home... ahem... yes. they...were home...and i WASNT dancing... whered you get that crazy idea. sheesh.
ANYWAYS since i WASNT dancing and i DIDNT the music really loud i didnt hear the massive crackling the chicken was evetually making and i guess i was too blind to see the smoke bllowing out of the kitchen. then my sense of smell...apparntly the only sense working at the time kicked in. and im thinking. oh right i had chicken on...ew it doesnt smell very good. FINALLY it clicks in and im like CRAP!
so i run to the kitchen and i see a mini fire on my stove and black smoke coming from it. i didnt really know what to do so i grabbed the pan and ran it under water... haha... yeah. so needless to say i almost had some carcoal briquettes for supper but i threw them out and kept careful watch of the new batch. and i had to air out my house cause it stinks like massive amounts of smoke

yeah thats my story for the day

its pretty cool lately cause i cant hear out of my left ear. its been like that since the night before last... and i dont know what the poop is wrong with it. i think im getting old haha

Ive got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell

Revised!!! because it made no sense

So I got back from YC last night at like 1 - 1:30 and BOY am i tired. i could barely keep my eyes open today

All I can say is holy crap. best weekend of my life. Good God. Good speakers. Good music

Boy let me tell you the energy in there was overwhelming. 16,000 people.. Toby Mac said something that definatly described it. he said
" the bible says that when 2 or 3 people gather together God is there. And if im doing my math right. Gods definatly in this place"

The speakers were amazing. they hit home for me

the speakers were

Miles McPherson- he talked about something that was in matts blog actually. which was ironic but he said that people blame the devil for things of our own ignorance. it seems like the phrase "the devil made me do it" is a quick fix to explain your own mistakes. he was pretty cool i liked him. he was the first speaker so he was the one who asked who wanted to become a christian. and literaly thousands stood up. it was amazing

Mike Pilavachi- He was an english guy who was halarious. he spoke twice i think. i dont really remeber . but anyways he was talking about well... i forget his name but hes like a 79 year old man who makes friends with terrorists and stuff. but the point was would you go out of your comfort zone for God even if it ment making friends with people from the columbian drug trade.

quote from him "and in the voice only a little 7 year old girl can have she said. did you just get fat or were you always like that?"

Phil dooley- Perhaps the funniest austrialian in the world. haha. I loved him so much. he was the youth pastor for United he was so full of energy and i heard him speak twice once was when we went to a session for making your relationship with God personal. and a grits concert was in the background and he said "maybe i should rap this whole thing". then he made up this horrible rhyme and it went a little something like this " im talkin about moses and a bush on fire watch out you kangaroos cause i can jump higher"
"hippy ho jiggy jiggy"

and bob stromberg a guy who just did like illusions and stuff he did the funniest shadow puppet show iv ever seen, so freakin talented haha he made an old mans face. at first i thought it was his. haha
" the fox...and the hooooooouuuuuund act....2"

but the bands that we went to see were

Toby Mac- which put on the best show in my opinion .
one of the two black guys who rapped and sang with him did a backflip off of a 6 foot speaker and was break dancing. and there was a "solo fight" the girl would do a voice solo then the guitar
player would do a solo back. amazing he whipped out all kinds of instruments like a trumpet and the weirdest classical guitar iv ever seen. it was flat guys..what the heck.

Kutless- best musically in my opinion. they did such a good job. grace and love was amazing we saw them twice and once we were on the floor he had such a deep/clean voice. and the guitar players were crazy good. they swung their guitars around there shoulders at the same time and started playing again

Hillsongs united- the worship band. wow.even better than last year they were so in fire for God they gave off so much energy it wasnt even funny. well it was. they were like hopping everywhere. and at the end phil dooley sang a bit of the song. iv neevr heard anyone sing with an accent before..he did. haha mike love also sang with him. he tried to jump onto the drum set and he knocked over part of it haha

tree 63 did a worship set. i liked the guys voice alot

TFK- they would have been good if we would have not been behind the speakers and in the back corner of the nosebleed section. but they were good despite that we could hear the song this is a call. that was real good

Audio adrenaline also put on an amazing show. he was walking in the crowd and whipped out the old " iv got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell" line and had a cowbell solo...amazing and he lost his voice. thats how you know your doing it right haha .
he got some kids on the stage to sing some of the song. one girl had no rhytem. one girl sucked cause she forgot the words and one guy.. well i didnt pay attention. im assuming he was better because he sang the chorus

Hawk nelson was very good. there were so many people there. we hadta wait outside because they had the small stage but when we got in we went straight into the moshpit. then i went to buy a cd after and got it signed, they were also one of the best musically from what i heard at least.

Delerious was ok.. not my favorite but his voice is real good but nothing special

Grits...was bad live. i hate hiphop live but they were ok. i guess. not my cup of tea though

and HURRAH for the pyro show. fireworks and fireballs up the wazoo. you could literaly feel the heat wafting over you

on the way home we picked up a signal from other peoples walkie talkies and we were talking to them. one was from BC and one was from edmonton. then we realized one of them were right beside us in a van...weird.
and im stealing this from jess's blog
"where are you guys from?"
"were from edmonton and we look funny"

all in all it was a truly amazing weekend. God was there and moved 16,000 people. worship was amazing and wow .. words cant even describe it.

sorry about the insanly long post. but no simpsons quote of the day cause im lazy so heres the quote of the weekend

" i have a question for you guys... you are electric"
" dude thats more of a statement than a question"
"oh...ok. you are...electric?"
-hawk nelson guys

---------------------------------------------------------

" i love watching canadians"
-hawk nelson

---------------------------------------------------------

i had to walk both ways up hill naked
dad...you werent naked
well i was almost naked. i had socks...and a belt. the belt kept an inch and half of me toasty
-bob stromberg

---------------------------------------------------------

the schoolbus from hell...featuring the killdren

theres no one in that killbus!

- me

----------------------------------------------------------

i feel like a grade 7 girl who goes up to a guy and says "my friend thinks you're hot, can i take a picture?"
-lance ( in refernce to jess wanting a picture of subway...aw....so hot haha)

line up, line up, as if you have a choice
Snow patrol - run

As you can see.
I am now putting the name of the song in my title so you all know what im talking about. it will always be songs that i like so give em a ..hear?

Anywho. Dont you love sleeping in when your not supposed to? i dont. I missed our final dissection. crap. im screwed

Todays practically a thursday for me. i go to YC on friday YIPPIE fm static and TFK ah,...good memories of summer. im so excited, delerious gets a main stage too. hurrah.

this week has been really good. yesterday Cas's mom organized a suprise 20th birthday for him. it was alot of fun, lots of people were there and we had a big BBQ thing.
we didnt really suprise him i dont think cause we were all sitting in the living room as im and lindsay pulled up and the blinds were open.. oh well.
We went to allyces house before the par-tay after doing her papers in record time. yah thats right, half an hour. but we went aand made a card/poster for cas. which i ended up making with a little help from ness. it was pretty funny. it was made of felt and its said CAS YOU'RE 20! with a bunch of stickers. he thought it was funny. i think he liked it. i would

anyways i think imust depart even though i have 40 minutes to waste

but heres a good simpsons quote for you all today. enjoy

Lionel Hutz: Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

and a special bonus ...another one

What a season, to be beautiful without a reason

Well so the long weekend eh? I did alot of hanging out with jess which was fun.
but heres my scheduel

Friday- Went out for supper with Lance and Carrie to Chiantis then over to moxies for white chocolate brownies *drools*. Then we went and picked up thomas and visited cody in the store and stole some of his stickers for their meat packaging and borrowed almost heros from bradens house. which is the funniest movie ever, but i fell asleep in it cause iv seen it before and i was tired.

Saturday- Me Carrie and Teri went to the city to get carries legs waxed and we picked up a gift for vanessa for her confromation. then i went home. went back to carries to make a card for the gift. and it definatly had a zipper. which she loved by the way. then i went over to jess's went for a walk and then we watched almost famous ( one of my favorite movies ever )

Sunday- Me and carrie went over to vanessas house for a family bbq i know what your thinking. "wouldnt that be awkward?" well the answer is yes. yes it was. for a bit.
We stayed there till like 4 and i went home and ate. then we and jess hung out for a bit.played some speed then went out for a walk with nocle and janelle. which was a blast. we went out and checked out all the creepy places in dalmeny like the gas station that i heard music coming from THREE times. weird...70s-80s music and nicolewas brave enough to venture into the bush. with her failed attempts at getting our attention and scare us she finally was the result of the most suureal thing in my life.We were sitting in the corner waiting for her but then she books out of the darkness with a 12 foot stick running towards us...with a big grin. i actually had to stop andthink "is this really happenning" but then i think/oh ya, its dalmeny. of course its happening
then we went back to jess's and freaked out lance over msn and had some popcorn
my mom left for disney world today. the punk

Monday- me and jess went out and took cpitures and went back to the gas station. which we heard the music. again. then we went to her house to upload them. then watched pirates of the carabian then later on that evening we watched jurrasic park 3, better than the first 2 let me tell you. they didnt look fake this time haha

i was going to tell you all a story but i went on that tangent and now i forget. good work
so unless it comes back to me. have a good day.

Ride with me...

so my day consisted of cas and lindsay driving me and lance to the "fire and glory" thing yesterday night and we were already in the city for the track meet ( Which Dalmeny KILLED in might i add.we took the overall thing plus like 90% of the other awards) .

we had some time to kill so we drove around for a bit an eventually ended up at ruckers. We only got like 34 tickets though because we were playing dance dance and pinball.
Anyways. we all got matching rings...yeah...foam happy face ones. admit it. your jealous.

After that escapade we ventured to KFC and got some chicken, wedges, and baby back ribs...mmm mmm good. there was a man beside us who was barking and stuff. it was kinda weird.

Cas also made up this contraption of a drink which i decided tasted like creamsicle and crap.
And off to the fire and glory confrence we went. after we got lost. hahaha

The confrence was super good. i saw a whole bunch of radical things iv never seen before,God was definatly in that place. it was amazing just to see everyone worshiping and everything. I cant even put it into words. you had to be there.

In conclusion. God is good

on another note

Have you ever felt something that you cannot feel? and cannot explain. I think I have (or should I say yes?). And I don't know how it feels. Weird, huh? It's a feeling you don't want ever coming into your life.
A feeling so intense yet numb. It's like you're just there, lying on your bed, trying to sleep, staring at the ceiling and maybe waiting for stars to come down on you.
It's like rollercoaster ride that wouldn't stop. It keeps on turning and turning and turning, you'd be wishing you're dead.
I guess this is what they call "The Irony of Life". Now, do I make sense?
Or did I corrupt your mind

I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics. All I want is the truth...just gimme some truth. I've had enough of reading things by neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians. All I want is the truth...just gimme some truth. No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of Tricky Dicky is gonna mother hubbard, soft soap me with just a pocketful of hope...money for dope...money for rope. I'm sick to death of seeing things from tight-lipped, condescending, mama's little chauvinists. All I want is the truth...just gimme some truth now. I've had enough of watching scenes of schizophrenic, ego-centric, paranoiac, prima-donnas. All I want is the truth now...just gimme some truth. -John Lennon

Would you take a walk outside? Oh no

Hurray! I got a new guitar yesterday! A 1970's Fender Stratocaster its black and has a white pick guard...sooo nice.
well i guess its technically not MINE but my dad bought it so its the families. It looks amazing. its not in mint condition but thats kinda what I like about it.

The weekend was real real good. I went to Foam lake with Lance Thomas and Stacey and Lances family excluding his dad and we stayed at our new senior pastors house. I watched Danae's and Davids drama production which was pretty good then we went to the church and i watched thomas lance david and stephen jam for a while. they completed 3 songs. They are sounding super good im excited for when David and stephan move here so they can play more.

We disected worms im class today. let me just say...formeldhyde is THEE nastiest smell iv ever smelt in my life and i feel like puking. But on the plus sider i DO now know what the inside of a huge earthworm looks like. Most people would say, wait a minute steph. thats not a plus sude. but my reasoning is now that i know what the inside looks like ill never eat one again... i mean...

Woo YC is in like...less than two weeks.on that note.

We wont ever have to worry again about how this song or story ends...

Nicoles blog got me thinking about how useless school is. why do we need certain thing to graduate unless you want to be a teach informing other of this usless knowledge youve gained in school. Its the most retarded concept in the world. When am i ever gonna need to know that an earthworm has a ceriberal ganglion and how they reproduce. oh now i remeber.thats right. Never. I hardly think that not knowing the quadratic formula. or how earthworms reproduce justifies you to fail highschool
But whatever. stay in school guys. seriosly

Simpsons quote for the day:
Marge: Homer I have someone here to help
Homer: Is it Batman
Marge:no its a scientist
Homer: Batman was a scientist
Marge: Its NOT batman!

Im still not sure, is there some better place i could be heading towards?

I know iv posted this before but i found it yesterday and it fits perfectly with the list theme. and since jess likes my lists, here it is
The following animals are funny when...

Gerbils, especially when seen lifting weights.
Platypus's, especially when used out of context.
Giant Ground Sloths, in almost any context.
Sheep, especially the vampire variety. Or when discussing David.
Howler Monkeys, when discuss screechy people.
Chimps, when dressed as 80s action film heroes, when wearing tutus and riding tricycles.
Donkeys, when wearing sombreros and walking into easily visible walls.
Bunnies, when commenting on the mighty Esquilax, a lion with the head of a rabbit and the body of a rabbit.
Circus Folk, while commenting on things which smell of cabbage.
Pooh-Bears (fictional), upon a) meeting someone named "Winnie" or b) when someone gets their head stuck in a pot of honey.
Cows, almost anytime.
Ducks, when speaking in British accents.
Penguins, when shooting out of icy water, when waddling around Antarctica, or when trying to kill batman

And huzzah for finally nice weather. an awesome monday ( law comm spare spare comm) and track tomrow and no school on friday. this week rocks. Well, so far anyways and its only 4th class. but still, i can tell haha.
So yeah theres been a little bit of coupling this weekend. weird. its definatly spring time haha

Im a waste of paint, of breath, of space....

Dalmeny has gone corrupt. It was quite a day here yesterday. I will go in chronilogical order here.( of today )
So im walking home from school and i see smoke billowing from a bunch of trees in the distance i dont think much of it because farmers always burn there feilds. But as i keep walking i hear sirens in the distance and im thinking. " well ok i guess thats a bit weird for Dalmeny" So i keep walking. Moments later i see some firetrucks speed by toward the direction of the smoke. so im thinking by now its probably pretty seriose. well it was a big bush fire.

Second. A little while later i hear the sirens moving towards town and I didnt think they kept there sirens on AFTER the fire so i look outside and they are going down the street near mine and i can see smoke coming from there too. AndI hear after that a house caught fire and its totaly gone. i went and checked it out today and the roof and garage are just gutted i dont think you could recover anything from it. which sucks.

Third. Our principle teaches us Law and we techically didnt really have a class cause he was running in and out of the room cause some kids DURING TRACK stole over $9,000 worth of sound equipment from our new theatre. apparently they are from out of town and just carried them out in box's and causally asked where the garbage was. This is Dalmeny so no one thinks much of it.

Seriosly. this last year another fire has taken place. my car has got broken into twice. bradens has jareds has. and a bunch of other people i dont know well. And also the gas station got robbed. ( all of which took place of my street might i add, the arrest for the robbery was two houses down haha) What is this? this is supposed to be nice little fairy tale ( kinda ) town but BAM! a wave of madness has hit us!
this may not sound like a big deal to you "city folk" but comon.. this is a town of what..1,800 people. this isnt supposed to happen here haha

Anyways im done.
heres my simpsons quote of the day

Jimbo: Hey Simpson, wanna trade belts?
Bart: Well, not really, 'cause yours is just a piece of extension cord.
Kearney: Hey, dude, he's ragging on your cord.
Jimbo: Get him!

EDIT: I fixes my links...so now they all work

Franz ferdinand rocks my socks...

In case your wondering. yes. yes i do like to post two times a day...so dont bother asking.

Carrie. if you read this blog. why Is the sound effect digga digga digga so much fun to say? and is there any other sound effect just as fun. i dare you to answer that one.

But anyways. I THINK im going to rant about the weather again. It was BEAUTIFUL out this afternoon but OH NO here comes big old windbag...wind to ruin the day! whats with this like seriosly. why does the weather change every 5 minutes! has the earth gone off some whacky path or are we just affected by radiation or something. honestly.

Why are all my posts about rants? im a very pessimistic person. from now on i dub this the positive blog. and if you dont like it I will personally slap you in the mouth.

Since i already had a simpsons quote of the day i think i will just end off with something i said to allyce yesterday
Your face looks like your moms going to rain... ( yeah thats right... i said it )
The winning days are gone...

SO, i just finished writing this big rant but my window closed on me and this computer makes everything freeze up on this site. augh!

SO ill just get back to my rant. but ill try to keep it as descrete as possibble cause i dont feel like revealing the actual problem. those of you who know whats going on good, well those of you who dont this is probably a waste of time for you cause im not gonna say haha.

anyways something came up with someone i know and i dont know how to handle it anymore. iv tried to solve it, but it only made the matter worse and i dont know what to do anymore. I dont even feel like dealing with it the way i should be . people are trying to tell me to go about it a certian way but they dont understand how well that wouldnt work. . seriosly. im sick of it t and its coming to the point where im not worrying about my own feelings and stress factor but just everyone elses and im so stressed out its not even funny.
im at a loss what to do so if anyone is reading this and knows what im talking about.,. pray for me or give me advice.

ok well im done my rant so heres the simpsons quote of the day.

Homer: its gonna take alot of fireworks to clean THIS mess up

If you've lost your faith in love and music the end won't be long.

Man.... im really bad at this. I always say im not gonna let it die off but i do. ah well not like anyone really reads this anyways.

So anyways. Im not gonna even bother updating because we'd both be here for longer than is comfortable for both of us... or...a whole bunch of you? whatever.

Yeah so I'm really into The Strokes and The Vines lately, If you ever get the chance give them a listen oh and also Bright eyes. there very intresting. weird style

Its come to me that i love music more than life itself... I seriosly dont know what i would do with out it. I dont think its possible... seriosly i think id grow more insane than i am now. Its weird that music is such a big part of my life. i think i spend at least half of my day listening to come form of music. itslike a safe kind of high for me. i think music should be considerd a drug. but dont make it illegal or anything or that would suck.
ok im rambling so i think im gonna stop.

Yeah so, whats this about minus weather and snow im april and may huh? saskatchewan is WEIRD! global warming my eye...snow in october...snow in april. i think mother nature is getting senil and is forgetting that winter isnt supposed to be in any of those months...WAKE UP GRANDMA IS SPRING TIME!

ok so theres mt rant for the day...now for my simpsons quote of the day

Here i am in this place again...

Oh boy. do i love highschool. Im sorry im such a complainer but im so stressed out right now, finals are in 3 days and we haveta write an essay before tomorow. Half of my credits are now depending on my final exam. and that pressures me a whole bunch. I said i would pick up my feet this year but did I? No... i did not. And im regretting it.
But on a happier note. I just got back from a junior high retreat ( As a sponsor ) . Despite the fact that i only got 4 hours of sleep the whole weekend. i loved it , those kids give me so much energy and i got a chance to talk with a few of them and build relationships. I love helping out with that age group as frustrating as it is, i love it. I have so much fun with them and im at the perfect age that i can still relate a bit to them but yet they have respect for me. So its absolutly awesome.
But i should go back to writing my essay.
God bless

Une beaux...chocolate chaud

Dangit. if anyone knows how to add pictures onto the blog. can you tell me?

Anyways. So about this freezing weather hey? Ugh... Well there ARE some upsides to it
1.Hoar frost is beautiful
2.Lots of snow provides lots of snowmen when it gets warm.
3.Toboggaing requires snow
4.I love the smell of cold. like when someone comes in from outside and you can smell it off them
( one of my favorite smells might i add )
5.Coming in from the cold to sit by the fire with hot chocolate

Speaking of hot chocolate ( no this doesnt relate at all ) Me Carrie and Ryan went to the local grocery store ( Food town ) and we were just wired. So, we took the little kids carts and took the most nonsense things off the shelves and put it in there Ie: A big fish, spam and weird looking fruit. and rolled it on up to the till. Before she rings it in say oh no we dont want this. then bought just a pack of gum.
I dont think iv ever gotten that many weird looks consecutivly in my life. expecially when i ran into a bin after grabbing the large forzen fish from the freezer. I dont think iv ever come closer to peeing myself in my life.

But yeah. Im gonna go to bed.
God bless

OH NO! it's old man winter!

Thats right. Saskatchewan weather is SO not cool. Whats up with this -34 weather WITHOUT the windchill. Who does this? Saskatchewanians thats who. We definatly have to be the toughest people ever. we can have + 40 summers and -50 some winters. Im proud of that haha.

I just found out the other day i have an oppertunity to go to Cuba this summer for a missions trip. it used to be Jamacia but then my aunties like " Oh yah they decided not to go to Jamacia,But the Carribians sorry" I said " WHAT! Sorry!? your kidding right"
All i haveta do is call the youth group in lloydminster and ask about it. But for some reason i really dont want to. Im really bad on phones. And i still need to think if this is what i want to with my summer. So if you guys wanna pray for me about that that would be awesome
But i have to go. God bless

Iv gone to look for America...

Oh boy. How i miss Phili... Me and Jess were just talking about it and we both said we wouldnt forget anything about it but im already starting to forget the kids names and stuff. its kind of depressing. But I really want to go back there eventually.
I miss Bill Campell alot. that guy is so passionate about everything he does and the people he works with I admire him so much.

So....its new years hey. wow this year just WHIZZED right by
Im not too big on new years resolutions cause i never keep them. but this year im trying it.So far my New years resoluations were
1. not to go on msn so much ( not working out as well as i planned but i did disconnect it upstairs)
2. read my bible more often ( Thats also not working out too well)

but it is just the first day after new years so i only hope things go better from here.

You know what is the least bit cool. We have school tomorow, WHAT IS THIS! the whole freakin system is out of order. we usally have a longer break than this. But then again. we DO have almost every second friday off so i shouldnt be complaining.
Oh man speaking of school ( sorry i cant stay on one topic for more than three seconds)
our musical practices are coming up!. im kind of excited kinda not. For those of you who dont know were doing the musical "Oklahoma" and im definatly a guy in it. but hey. at least i got a part haha.

P.s im starting a new thing

Theres like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff

Ah, as you can see. i watched Napolean Dynamite a while ago. Actually the same night i had some friends over for a christmas dinner thing. It was pretty fun
but anyways. back to the movie. Everyone ( and yes me at the time ) just HATED it. i got so angry at that stupid movie because it had no freaking plot and it made me so...angry haha.
but then last night i was reading over some quotes and i just laughed SO hard. i want to watch it again. This is exactly the type of humor i appreciate and i dont know why i didnt like it in the first place. But this movie your either gonna love or hate. trust me. I personally. Love it...now

But yah. New years hey? wow....this year just WHIZZED by. 2004 was full of...losing and gaining friends. I can safely say this has been the craziest year for me. iv done so much changing. Some for good some for ..not so good. No im not a drug addict or an athiest or anything. just personality traits really. Im glad this year is over i dont want things to change one bit. But as they say. "Change is enivitable. except from a vending machine" Actually. that quotes wrong. it was probably written in the 60's when you had to use exact change in pop machines.

Things with the fam are still the same. Im still the only one going to church. Still on meds for their depression and my bro is still messed up. I guess thats one thing that doesnt change too much. Ah i guess i gotta trust in God and things will lighten up. Im glad God blessed me with the friends i have, i dont know what id do without them
I love you guys

But i gotta jet.
God bless.

The frame store!? you monster!

Today wasn't as prime as the last few but thats sure hard to top. youths tonight so that should be good havent had it in a while and its small groups. Woot.

Gods definatly kicked me in the shin last night and showed me some stuff i need to improve on. So its hard. But im gonna haveta learn to trust what Hes doing. Hes God afterall. Why am i even thinking of disagreeing.

The get together last night was really good. Greg shared about how we have to surrender our whole selves to God not just one part of us. and thats really hard for some people because its admitting defeat and people with alot of pride fear that. It was really good.
Greg gave us paper and as we were singing we wrote down some things to God it was amazing
we also had a prayer and encouragment time after. we drew names from a hat and wrote them an encouragment letter that was uplifting.

Ah a musical suggestion for you guys out there who like the crazy British old type sounding bands like The Vines and The Whitestripes. Check out The Libertines. I got there CD up the bracket from a friend a while ago and it hasnt left my cd player since. If your into that kinda stuff i guess.

But thats my daily ramble for the day. hope you made some sense of it.
God bless

"Slow down. this sidewalks for regular walkin' not fancy walkin' "

WOAH! has it ever been a long time. haha 10 bucks says no one comes here to see this. ah well
Well how have i been over,...haha half a year or so. well its definatly had its ups and downs but ill focus on present tense.
This weekend has been amazing. To start off. school ended on Thursday and that very day i got free Van Halen tickets from my friends dad. and he took me. Was thatever amazing! best concert iv been to in a while. Eddie Van Halen definatly played his guitar with the side of a moving drill. SO COOL!
Then on friday we went out bowling with a bunch of people. funny story about that. i had a thing of icecream and i was licking it, not using my spoon. i go up to pay for it and i think travis is behind me so i turn around and say " now i can eat it with a spoon" and it definatly wasnt anyone i knew. got one of the weirdest looks ov gotten in a while.
Then on Saturday we went over to a friends house and played dance dance revolution. iv been getting pretty good i think.Codys sweet though.
THEN on sunday. we went to ruckers and played dance dance haha. and we went to tim hortons after. there was a kid there staring at me for quite a while then she said " can i have....a donut" it was really awkward.
Technically todays not the weekend but it was still pretty darn sweet. i had spare first thing, then planned for the rememberance day preformance then drove with the drivers ed instructor all the rest of the day ( she skipped me last year ) and later on tonight we are having a gathering at the sawatzkys and we have a mini youth type thing. worship, prayer time and encouragment letter writing. its really good just to get a few people who are seriose about God together and do that, it was really powerful and encouraging.
But yeah thats it so far. ill start blogging alot more now. but ill leave it at that
God bless. Steph

Sometimes i feel bad about not updating. then i look at kellys blog...haha

Anyways. the break is coming near and soon we will be out for a week so im getting really excited about that.
but im gonna echo Carrie saying the retreat was A-freaking-mazing. that grace topic blew me away. i was totaly expecting the last night to be mind blowing but WHAMO! the first night.
Anyways he was just talking about grace. and how mind blowing the concept is. dispite all the bagillion kinds of pain jesus was put through and yeah yeah i'v heard that before. Jesus died for us. he took all our sin. but i never really thought he did it for ME. like i dunno but its hard to picture someone dieing for me. and loving me that much. see im not used to that kinda thing..you know people dont die for me everyday so i couldnt really put it into context. but this weekend made me realize how much he loved ME. not only like...carrie. jess. lark. kim but me too. i dunno that probly sounds kinda stupid but hey.

but anyways. i was at a stereotrap concert this friday. but sadly didnt...stay long enough to see them ( carrie had to go back because she had a volleyball tourney) but thats ok. i got to see chris fher and understated has improved alot. so the time there was enjoyable.

I need a bed
That nobody’s slept in
I need some air
Nobody’s been breathing
I need a thought
That I can believe in
Is this fog
Or is the building really burning
I need you
Much more than ever
I’m making new friends
But none of them matter
Maybe now
We don’t fit together
But you’ve got your arms around
No one but strangers

I want to wake up
And just start running
Into a ditch
Or straight up a mountain
I want to get
Where no one been gettin’
Make it deeper than hell
Or make it higher than heaven

I need someone whose price hasn’t been met
When everybody’s disappearing
By the minute
There isn’t anyone left
I haven’t meet yet
Well I remember
When they hadn’t gotten to you yet
Half way up
And over this rainbow
I heard a shot
Fire up from a ghetto
As I drop
I didn’t think you’d follow
Just didn’t know
The sky was this shallow

I need a garden
Where nothing’s forbidden
I need an apple
That no one’s been eatin’
I want to start again
Back at the beginnin’
I had a vision
That this feeling maybe has an ending

yeah sorry its been so long. i havent really had anything to say.
things have been going pretty swell for the most part. sure there are the few downs but hey, gotta live with em
im pretty pumped for this summer. at camp for 3 weeks then on a missions trip to phili in august for 2 and a half weeks i think. So woot woot
anyways i better be heading out hey?
ill try to post more often
God bless

I feel fine
With the sun in my eyes
The wind in my hair
When I’m falling out of this sky
I’m doing better than I thought I would
But nothing’s ever as good
As when you’re on top

Its been a while

haha woah...its been...quite some time. an update on me would be rather impossible for iv been having alot of highs and lows...One thing in praticular about the lows ( and i totaly am not pointing fingers here. im just speaking my mind not trying to offend anyone)
anyways. im really frustrated with the way people have been veiwing me lately. they do it in all good fun..but it gets to you , you know?
just the way anyone mentions the word lazy or someone didnt do something or didnt do it right they always direct their attention at me..when most of the time it really isnt.
im trying really hard to change but so few people have faith in me most when i mention changing they just half laugh and look at me like they dont belive me and it sortof discourages me..
They always have a look on me like i never get anything done or if i do get it done i do it like i did it just to get it done and barely pass...
anyways sorry if this totaly confused you, just my rant for the day.

A positive out look on life for a moment please you ask?
Well. in the times that iv been good iv been glowing. for no apparent reason. i love that and iv been getting it alot more often than usual.
and i dont have to go to school tomrow. because im going to edmonton so im on a slight high today.
and lately Gods been teaching me to actually think about what im reading when i do my devos..because normally id be like WOO there im done and pick out a verse that could have meaning then go to bed.
iv been looking into them more deeper now so thats grood
anways i got to go
God bless

call me the underdog

In a world where only the strong will survive, and the fast will win, live us. The Christians. Tired, fallen, beat up, broken down, Christians. Finding the strength each morning to get up and take on another day is hard. Especially when it seems like we will never come out on top.
The song "Underdog" By Audio Adrenaline has a positive outlook on being an underdog. Im not going to deny it. I consider myself an underdog in almost anything. In the song its saying that they arent judging by how small fast tall or smart the person is. but theyre substiute (Jesus) so really im having a better outlook on that, i cant do anything about it but accept that someone out there is faster smarter ect than me and i should just stop worrying about it.
Also learning to stick with my faith, Being a christians hard in my house but theres nothing i can do but tough it out and pray for my family hoping for a change for the better in them.
anyways i better be going.
God bless

An ode to air fresheners

First off id like to say sorry about changing everything around so much. Just the last one was giving me troubles. and although this one doesnt have links yet...i guess illhave to try to figure it out.

Anyways. Sure, this might sound a little silly, but I truly believe that air fresheners are one of the greatest inventions on this earth in years. They are so convenient now too. You can plug them in anywhere. When they are all out of that smelly good stuff, just pop in a refill and you are good to go.

Why am I making such a big deal about these cool devices? Well, let me explain. If you have an animal it takes away the smell.(unless its mine) If you left your leftover lasagna on the desk it can sit there and rot for a week before you start to realize it. After a long day you can come home and open the door to the smell of a frosty winter mist instead of musty gym clothes.

That my friend, is why I am in love with air fresheners. But, we can also take this further and relate it to our every day life as a Christian. God can be the breath of fresh air in our walk with Christ. By reading the Bible, you allow yourself to wash away the sin by realizing how you are to live. By praying, you can eliminate the foul odor by asking for help.

When we have the right tools and equipment, it is easy to make even my place smell fresh and clean. When we have the right stuff in our Christian life, it makes it easier to resist the sin that will stink up the place. If you are living in the dumpster it is time to get washed off. Put a clean pair of underwear on and get out there and make a difference in the world. God Bless

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive Acts 20:35

Were just days away from the big day. If your house is as chaotic as my grandmas, in a day from now your living room floor will be carpeted with wrapping paper. The presents that are neatly wrapped under the Christmas tree will be handed out to whoever its for. Im totally excited for it.

Two years ago I bought my brother a new cd he really wanted for Christmas. he was happy because thats what he wanted. On the other hand, I was happy as well because I gave my brother something he really wanted. It was a joyous moment.

Our society is wrapped up in the opposite of our scripture. It is more blessed to receive that to give is the hearts of most people today. I want to introduce you to a woman who lived over 2000 years ago who understood what it meant to give. She was engaged to a carpenter. One day, the angel of the Lord appeared to her and told her that she would conceive a child. Yes, I am talking about the mother of Jesus, Marry. By her accepting the will of God on her life, she could have lost her future husband because she would be pregnant, and not by him. Yet she did it, and everything turned out peachy!

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God gave his son so that we may live. I want to look at one more giver. Hebrews 12:2, Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Though Christ had to suffer a lot of pain, He did so willingly because He knew of the future joy it would bring. The pain our Lord suffered mended the relationship between us and the Father.

I know for a fact that giving hurts at times. But the joy your giving brings to the person you gave for should totally be a blessing to you. Im going to leave you with one challenge. As you sit around the Christmas tree opening gifts, watch your family and friends open the presents that you bought them. Check out the smile on their face. Is it not more blessed to give than to receive?

I know i probably sound like a hypocirte. i have a problem with this too. im trying also

Well today is just the dumps too
my grandpa died. and everything and everyone is just stressful and i just need to get away from it all. i can hardly think straight things are just...i dunno extremly overwhelming,
not just my grandpa..sadly thats the least of my problems its just stressful being around people that are stressed and its gonna be worse when my parents get home because my mom took this hard. and schools just frustrating
its like a line on a song how i totaly feel it says " i bet you build me up this high so i can crash a little harder" i feel everytime i get happy and good again. something just has to come along and things start slipping and i hit rock bottom..every time. and im sick of it
but my self worth is still down the drain but better than yesterday. Kim said something on haileys blog that kinda changed my veiw on things
she said she heard a quote and it was like.."Change the way you see, not the way you look."

gah sorry if this post confused you, everythings jumbled up in my head and thats kinda what came out.
i got my net back though so ill post more often
god bless

Today sucks.

sorry for not posting for a while. i dont have the internet at home at the moment
but yeah the morning went super slow. we decorated the first class and then we had math and french.. that speaks for itself and when i got home my dad was on the phone and he was crying and he got off and said my grandpa wasnt doing too good and he wouldnt last the rest of the day. on the weekend my grandpa went to the hospital because he had pnumonia then a little later he had a mini stroke. then all of a sudden all his vital organs shut down. So my parents rushed to lloyd to catch him before he..well died. and they left me and scott at home.
already i kinda felt of him as a bigger brother for the first time. he actually i dunno how to explain it but yeah. Me and him are going to set up the tree tonight and stuff so in a way its good but i just dont like seeing everyone sad so i dont wanna go up there later. but whatever.
my self worth is kinda low too.. but im in I.P and i already almost got caught...sooo i better go see yah.

Turns out Keith isnt as bad as people were saying. dirty rumors. Some people went to see him yesterday and he might have to get a skin graph but they have to wait a couple days before the swelling goes down because they say its like swollen to 2 times the size and its just his knee and the front of his leg are gross..still keep him in your prayers though
Were having a small group meeting tonight at our sponsors house so that should be fun., looking forward to tonight. and iv actually been alot better lately, im generally happier and learning to ignore my parents. I think everyones beginning to be in the christmas spirit anyways.or at least me
I better go though. i might have more later.
God bless

Monday, November 24, 2003

A couple days ago i guess a kid from my class "keith" got in a farm accident thing and his clothes got caught in a belt on a tractor and i guess his leg and hip are messed up pretty bad, and hes in the hospital for a couple weeks. he has to get some..skin transplant or plastic surgery, i dont know all the details yet but some people are going in to see him and ricks driving so ill know more soon, but until then. and i guess after. keep him in your prayers eh?
other than that im pretty excited for my birthday :D on friday, woot woot, my parents are probably getting me a guitar for christmas and my birthday.
Im really hungry and class is almost over so im gonna go
God bless

Hey, im still kinda bummed ,but something christine said at youth tonight hit me
Basically she said that we need to reach out to people we normally dont talk to,even if it means stepping out of our comfort zone. we can start with just a smile ,a simple encouragment card, or a quick prayer
At the start we kinda did a thing to pair up everyone in the youth group and we would pray for each other. and i thought that was an awesome idea becuase i got an oppertunity to pray with someone i dont know all that well. and its nice to get to know people like that and just to keep each other accountable
Then we wrote out encouragment cards for one another. those arent used as much as they should be and you just wrote something nice to encourage that person. I love getting things like that so that was great.
Good job christine

this is something that kinda oozed out of my brain whilst in I.P
enjoy?

Steph' s glad shes not a rock

why did i have to get up this morning
im tired
school is super boring and long today
sitting here isnt too much fun either
my work isnt coming up and my internet isnt working
and it causes me to write things that im thinking
like a big chocolate cake...
im hungry..
and i have to walk home for lunch
i wish i could drive
then i wouldnt have to walk anywhere
that would be cool never to have to walk and you got transported everywhere
i wish i could stay at home and sleep all day
kinda like a rock
I wish i was a rock
no worries
but you woudnlt know what worries were because a rock cant think
come to think of it im glad im not a rock

The following animals are funny when...

Gerbils, especially when seen lifting weights.
Platypus's, especially when used out of context.
Beavers, in any number of jokes involving the word "stuffed."
Circus Folk, while commenting on things with small hands which smell of cabbage.

Mmm Mmm Good.

the progressive supper is tonight! . im insited. and im getting hungry even thinking about it.
For those poor souls who dont know what the progressive supper is...its 7 houses hosting a part of a meal. in groups you go to diffrent houses and the first they serve you punch, then you go to another house and they give you soup then go to another and they give you salad then another which is appetizers. then another wich is main course..and i think you go back to the church for dessert.
so that will be good
As for my feeling status. im a bit better but still crappy, and im super frustrated with someone.. but i wont say who it is at the moment..for obviouse reasons. anyways i better be off.
God bless

Thursday, November 13, 2003

Things havent been much better lately..in fact theyve been kinda worse.
I dont know if all of you know so im just gonna say it now. I come from a home where im the only christian. In fact, my parents are far from being christian. And both of them have cronic depression. So our house is usually filled with anger and yelling because my dad is new to this because he just got diagnosed so the meds are affecting him weird and my mom has always been an angry person even with the meds.
My brothers the closest person i have in my immidate family and he snaps at me more than not, but sometimes hes nice. My parents give me no support in what i do. they point out the bad things and hardly compliment me. and for those who say " Oh, iv seen your parents they arent all that bad from what i see" i dont want them to sound like.. some friggen maniac but thats just a face they put on when companys over.
So as you can see my home isnt a happy place. and thats part of the reason im always bummed...
Just thought some of you might like to know a bit whats going on.
anyways God bless

Monday, November 10, 2003

*sigh* this weekends been good in the sense that I haven't been locked up in my house all week. But its been bad in the sense of my feelings and stuff. I have lower self esteem than usual. I don't know why and I just feel lonely and just plain down and I haven't been learning all that much in the spiritual sense..There's been a couple people who have been trying to help and I thank you very much and I think you might know who you are. Just right now is really tough..So if your up to it. Keep me in your prayers
something I was pondering today.
When you pray. Don't pray for God to take away your trials, for they are there for a reason and God wouldn't put you there if he didn't have a purpose. Instead pray for God to help you through the trail and to grow through it.
I guess this is what I need to do more of. Just realize he's putting me through this for a reason and God would never put anyone in a situation without having a way out. This is just one of his crazy ways that he works to perhaps make me stronger

God bless

Thursday, November 06, 2003

Im at school at the moment so I should make this one quick.
schools still stressful but I don't think it ever isn't going to be. we were out in the snow playing capture the flag for some reason. oh yah Hooray for snow! Its actually staying. I know later on this year ill be saying " oh man I hate the snow" but I always love it first off. So praise God for the snow!
yeah, back to venting. I have a large headache. And drivers ed after school. Sometimes it can be funny. Like when my teacher said she stuffed her son in the trunk of her car and drove around the block 6 times..haha..Good times
or when this French version of the video was playing and it was turned really loud and I said " wow that was loud" and she replied with "yeah especially in French.."
(since French is louder than English?)

Last night when I was at youth we were talking about a book written by"ralooul(sp?)" spraoul(sp?) lol, called. "Now that's a good question" its faq's about life and faith. He supposedly is one of the most sought after of today's theologians, But Kim pointed out that the book is about as big as the bible, and its written by a man, probably inspired by God, but the bible itself is full truth, no opinions just 100% truth.
then lark made a good statement * Kim probably said it this way just made it more clear* she asked which one of these would be most appealing in times of need. A quick fix. Or full truth. Most people would pick the quick fix, whislt you should be seeking the whole and complete truth. Whatever God wants to show you He'll show you. you just have to look in the right place.
I have tons of thoughts crammed into the small space that my mind is right now. But I wont go on any longer
anyways. I guess it wasn't as short as I thought it would be. So I best be off
God bless

Tuesday, November 04, 2003

Ah crappy. well i knew it would happen but i didnt know it would come this fast.
I have a sequence of bad days where i feel awful then they start getting awesome.. it usually lasts like 2 weeks but this one lasted a couple days and im back where i started..
And i need to make that decision by tomrow. the one i talked about a couple days back i think.
i just feel alone. for no apparent reason. no one to confide in but i know i do. i just feel like i dont.. but i guess this will all pass. as it always does. but comes rolling back. routine a guess. i might get used to it
Yeah, i read this thing somewhere. i completly forget though. but basically it said whatever you dont learn in school is just your brain filtering out what you wont need in the future. its sort of a survival tecnique used back in the old...days lol because they couldnt have so much crammed in their brain
all i haveta say is THATS WHAT IV BEEN TRYING TO TELL THEM! lol
yeah its just theory..or something i dont know.so dont rely on my sources i just thought it was funny/cool

Monday, November 03, 2003

I just got back from the city with my brother and Jess's brother. and saw the new bob dylan movie " masked and anonymous" , one word. SWEET. i highly reccomend it. although it is only here for 2 more nights at the broadway theater. some parts dragged on but the rest was awesome. had little things in there for no reason that was pretty funny and other parts that just made you think.
anyways. last night i went to this spiritual renewal thing, i forget the speakers name but he had some good points, but he dragged it on and i ended up not listening at the end. but im just going to talk about what separates Gods love from any other
Gods love
- God IS love
- Gods love never runs dry
- He has perfect love ( complete )
-Gods love is not timid ( hes not afraid we'll waste it)
- Gods love is unchanging no matter what

aaanyways i should be doing homework...soo God bless

Sunday, November 02, 2003

Yeah tonight i got out to a hockey game and a friend really challenged me to take a step of faith ( and i thank her ) and step out of my comfort zone to do something to please God. sooo if you could all keep me in your prayers for that, that would be great.
thanks God bless

Saturday, November 01, 2003

Well, here i am. very extremly bored. surfing the net.
todays been sorta blah.. its crappy outside and i doing abosultly nothing. hopefully my evening is alot more eventful...
anyways wilst surfing i found a pretty funny video on a site check out http://albinoblacksheep.com/video/pistachio.php
